Q: are the red spackles in the picture above part of the design, or is it an anomaly in the image? Nicholas

A: The image for this table is very bad quality, but unfortunately it is the only one we have. I recommend you take a look at the Mayfair 5' table to get an idea of colouring and style. Angela

Q: I am thinking of purchasing one of your Mayfair oak extending dining tables, could you tell me whether it is veneered or solid wood and how does the table extend? Do you have wood samples for this product or a brochure to determine the colour of the wood?

A: The Mayfair table is indeed solid oak, with walnut sections at each end. Unfortunately we cannot supply a brochure or sample, but I can tell you that the images for the 5' table and 5' dining set are very accurate for colour, and this table will be the same. The table extends from the middle; each end is pulled out and the extension leaf is stored inside. Angela
