Made to the highest standard with solid oak taken only from sustainable forests, this console table is then distressed to give the appearance of age.   • This product features 100% Solid Red Oak except for pine drawer bases and sides; shelves are a high quality oak veneer over MDF to increase strength and prevent warping. This range has been finished to look like Reclaimed Oak but is in fact made from New Oak Timber which has been sourced from sustainable forests.

A quality piece of sturdy furniture that really looks good. Very well packaged and easy to assemble. Only downside that knocks a star off the rating is the final finish to the top surface which has a number of fine circular scratches on it. Only shows when light is on but takes the edge off an otherwise excellent product. Have not returned item and have ordered some more pieces which I hope will be without scratches and can award a 5*.
