Your advice for buying furniture

1. If you are concerned about the colour of the furniture, you may be trying to match a piece you already have we may be able to send you a wood sample. Many of our ranges have small samples that we can post to you. Email your contact details along with the product code of the item to woodsamples@pinesolutions.co.uk. Postage for wood samples is approximately 2-3 working days.

2. Please be aware that the colour on your computer monitor may differ slightly to the actual item as they all have different settings. A selection of our wooden furniture has wood samples which we can send to you, see the details above.

3. There are many different ranges on the Pine Solutions website, in various woods and finishes. Understandably it can be a big decision to choose exactly what you want. Our team is on hand to guide you through your decisions and help you select what is best for you. We are happy to guide you, although it does come down to personal choice in the end. 4. The furniture comes in various states of assembly, it is important that you assess the place where it will go and make sure that there is room to manoeuvre it there and assemble it (if appropriate). In your home please survey any areas that may cause problems; the stairs, lift, door ways, corners etc to see that there is enough access for your piece of furniture. On the website box numbers, dimensions and weights are published for most items which may be useful to you.

5. In the room that you choose for your furniture we recommend that you check the overall dimensions to make sure that it fits in the space and is proportional. If you are assembling beds, wardrobes or large heavy objects we strongly advise you do this in the room and place where it will go. Some of the triple wardrobes for example are very heavy and cumbersome once assembled and are difficult to move.

6. If your purchase arrives damaged then please email us at help@pinesolutions.co.uk with a description and we will endeavour to help you as best we can. Do inspect your furniture for damages and defects as soon as it arrives and let us know as soon as possible if you have any queries.

7. Finally if you have building or decorating work please be aware that projects can often run over schedule. If you are unable to take delivery of the furniture on a prearranged day then you will be charged for the delivery costs. It is important to contact us as soon as possible if you have any problems with receiving the delivery of your furniture.
