This company was founded by John Marshall in 1986 and is also known as DP Furniture Express. The beginnings of the Durham Pine was centred around restoring old furniture including antique pine furniture, this soon expanded to new pine to satisfy demand as sales increased. Durham Pine established itself as a franchise, and at its peak had over 350 staff.
