Aarhus Wardrobe Triple

A bit of a nightmare to put up but great once up. Wardrobe is a bit wobbly when free standing. I fixed the top to the wall with a couple of brackets and it is now very sturdy. Pleased with purchase and they look great.

The instructions are deplorable. Something as simple as colour coding stickers to identify the main parts would save a lot of effort. There were several holes missing or extra on the drawings which made it very difficult to identify the correct positioning and part to work on. The drawer fronts are held in place with dowels only. I had to buy “L” shaped brackets to strengthen. The pack also came with one door handle missing. Overall the unit is very flimsy and to thin but ok for the discounted price but far from good value for the original RRP.

Very nice looking wardrobe and good value for money, it needed two people to assemble but very easy. would highly recommend the product and the company.

Lovely people working for Pine solutions but this product contained dreadful instructions, Unclear what the parts were in relation to the instructions. An unpleasant experience putting the wardrobe together and is still not right. Took so much work to put together that I couldn't be bothered to ask for a refund. Will probably last a couple of years and see us through until we move again.

Damp and damaged on arrival, cartons had been resealed following delivery to a Scots customer. Base broken at joints due to damp, needed regluing and reassembly. Top distorted and right hand door damaged, needs replacement. Good job my husband is a handyman otherwise we would have had to return it. Since we had been waiting some time for delivery we had to cope with it as it was since we needed to use it for guests that weekend but the door really needs to be replaced, there is a very deep scratch in it not made by us. Two doors slightly whorpped internal center strut is whorpped so doors did not fit without intervention (costing £10 for pine strip) will not buy flat pack in the future

Tricky and fiddly to build, but excellent finished product. Well worth the money and effort.

The wooden shelf covering the drawers had split where it had been joined by glue.I repaired it myself. Also as above regarding the drawers.

If you look for a good bargain, and quality is of secondary importance, then this is a good option. I dislike the number of scratches on the surface when I unpacked, and also the slight colour differences. Some parts came a bit bended so that one door doesn't properly close.

Excellent, really good value for money. A good solid piece of furniture. Just the door was chipped and missing the hanging hooks, but quick email and 2 days later the problem was solved

The wardrobe is lovely and easily put together the main fault is the plastic parts for the hanging rail. As this is the third one I have bought and in the other 2 wardrobes the plastic rail holder parts gave way in both from the weight of the clothes, I purchased metal ones before hanging the rail

I think the underside top of wardrobe should be stained to match the rest as it shows up

Seem good for the money. Bought triple wardrobe, two chest of drawers and two bedside chests. Instructions ok to follow though after five items you get good at it. First one takes a bit of time. Remember to ensure unit is square before nailing back on. had broken piece and piece missing but received them the next day after contacting customer service so was impressed by that.

Had problems with the centre baton for the middle door. Instructions not great on this piece.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the drawer linings and wardrobe back, which were advertised as not pine but were extremely flimsy. Also I was confused having ordered the Aarhus wardrobe to receive one labelled Richmond, although it looked the same. This was a reasonable price but it was difficult to build and not as solid as I had hoped.

the item came with a hinge missing, where one of the holes were made for a foot to be screwed in the wood was split so we have had to glue it on. the doors no matter it you try to lift the doors are not flush to the top. it took 8 hours to put together with two people not as stated, there was no way we were going to complain as we could not have gone through putting up another one. now we have had a handy man out and paid him to make it right and reinforce the back as it was leaning to one side, it does look good. we have had a lot of flat packs but never this one like this.

Extremely difficult to put together, holes not drilled in the right places. Would never buy flat pack from here again.

Assembly Instructions could be a lot clearer. Some of the scews were missing And the unit feet were pre-drilled larger than any of the scews supplied. Once assembled a nice piece of bedroom furniture.

Easy to put together

I have several concerns about the product: 1) Instructions very poor - no explanatory notes, no indication of the order in which to put pieces together. On several occasions I had to take apart what I had done and do it again. It took ages to work out which bit was which. 2) One side is bowed and there is a resultant gap between the door and the side. 3) The top is not finished. 4) Ran out of screws, had to use some of my own 5) Lots of unused holes, no caps to cover them 6) No pre-drilled holes to fit top magnets and the central hook for the bar. 7) Parts not labelled 8) There is a knot hole in the front of one door 9) The colour is darker than expected and not the same as the example on the website. I would welcome your comments and suggested action particularly re: unused holes, bowed side and the knothole.

No messing around with the delivery, purely a great product, and easy to assemble.

It was fairly easy to assemble just needed two of us to stand it upright. very pleased.

Be prepared for a complicated build as there are loads of parts on the wardrobe. Finished product ok but disappointed with new rounded routing on doors as it makes the product look quite old fashioned. I would not have purchased if I had known.

Takes ages to put together and instructions are awful to decipher.

The wood was thinner than I thought it would be and I was a little disappointed with the finish on one door - had white specks on it.

Instructions were very difficult to follow, but we are very pleased with final result.

The wardrobe takes a little time and patience to assemble but the finished product is well worth it. Only one downside...my woman now wants six more of them!

Good value for money but leave yourself plenty of time to assemble. We bought two and it took me a day and a half to assemble but my wife and I are pleased with the final result.

not as solid as the ox bury range took ages to build am quit good at building like items. was expecting two separate parts behind the doors but it is all one space could have use just two doors ,nice looking and made of real wood

Exactly what we were looking for, at an excellent price

Great wardrobe. Took longer than expected to build but once up looks great. Solid. Delighted with the set i got. Would definitely buy from pine solutions again. Delivery men were also very pleasant!

The good points of this product are it's good value, it was great service and delivery, and it looks good once up. The bad points are it is a nightmare to put together, and I used to work putting flat pack up for customers in a previous job. I was missing quite a few sets of screws, nothing I couldn't find to replace in my tool box though, and some of the pre drilled holes are in the wrong places. So, unless you can improvise, I would buy with caution.

I thought it was very disappointing. Took absolute ages to put together and rather poor quality. The drawers not very good and the inside back of the wardrobe very cheap and in separate pieces so didn't help with the stability. I would not buy another piece.

second purchase of triple wardrobe, initially bought one for front bedroom, was so impressed, purchased another two for rear bedroom. although when putting them together took four and a half hours two hours longer than suggested. looks the biz though.

Good quality and value for a flat pack, though obviously they are never as solid as properly joined ones but i didn't want to pay that money for what we wanted. Easy to follow instructions. A few premade holes missing but not serious. Problem with 2 doors sticking together as were packed with nothing between them. Varnish damaged when they were separated but had excellent service to get them replaced.

A bit disappointed in the base part of the Aarhus 5 drawer tall chest. Unlike the previous similar chest I had (probably not your company but ordered to match as closely as poss. with it) my other 6 drawer tall chest had solid wood everything, including the base. Yours are just a brace of 2 x 2 s. I also don't really like the metal runner rails. The Chest doesn't really need them.

The quality isn't that robust and also the width of the wardrobe was less than specification.
