Camden Painted Wardrobe Double with Drawer

big sturdy wardrobe. Huge drawer (size matters in the drawers). The drawer is painted so does not slide in and out easily but may wear as it gets used more.

I bought this to match some existing furniture so knew it was what I wanted. It worked out quite a bit cheaper than some other places I had looked, even including the assembly service which I was really pleased with. They arrived first thing in the morning and put it together in under an hour - it would have taken me all day! & I didn't have to have any time off work.

WE FOUND THE PRODUCT RELATIVELY EASY TO ASSEMBLE, BUT, BECAUSE OF QUALITY OF THE MATERIALS, IT WAS QUITE HEAVY. EVEN WITH TWO PEOPLE (COULD BE SOMETHING TO DO WITH US BOTH BEING 70 YRS OF AGE)IT WAS A BIT OF A STRUGGLE. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE APPEARANCE AND QUALITY. THE ONE SMALL PROBLEM I HAD WITH THE KNOBS ON THE DOORS WAS SOON RECTIFIED AFTER AN E-MAIL TO THE COMPANY. THERE WAS NO QUIBBLE ABOUT RECOMPENSING ME TO COMPENSATE FOR THE SLIGHT SHORTFALL IN SATISFACTION.

very pleased with the wardrobe - only negative was that instructions for assembly didn't totally mirror what we got and we weren't quite sure how to put the top bit on and may have put it on wrong - oh and the handles fell off when we put them on - we resolved this by gluing and not just screwing - but it looks great, is really robust and we are very pleased - think it represents good value - much nicer than horrid flimsy type things have got in the past.

A very nice piece of furniture. Good value compared to the kit furniture I've bought in the past. The delivery men were very courteous and helpful as the wardrobe had to be squeezed into a corner of a fairly small room. The door catches are a bit stiff but nothing too bad. Very pleased.

Love this item, sturdy build & easy to assemble as most of it is already done.

Build quality good, not the wobbly construction normally seen. The design is not for a small room but otherwise OK. Needs two to assemble, to control the swinging doors.

Photo does not do this wardrobe justice. It really is lovely as is all the Camden range we have purchased. This range seems to be used by all interior designers here in new show houses and I am not surprised.

Haven't put the furniture together yet so we cannot comment fully. A brief look and it looks as described.

Meet all my expectations, after reading reviews thought I would take a chance and not disappointed. Very easy minimal DIY for wardrobe so my wife said! It took me longer to get the string of the drawer chest handles mounted inside the draw for safe keeping, than to assemble the wardrobe.

The quality exceeded our expectation

Very nice, but the wardrobe base is not aligned correctly so the back of it is not flush. There's a discrepancy of approx. 1/2cm where the top part of the wardrobe sits back.

Good quality in the main (Camden Range) but despite the over packaging there was (three pieces of) minor damage that had obviously occurred prior to packing. Not enough to warrant sending back but annoying on new furniture
