Oslo Chest of Drawers Large

Instructions very difficult to follow. I think drawer fronts will come away easily as they are only fixed with dowl and glue. The remainder of the chest is sturdy but I'd go back to Ikea for any more furniture!

This looks great and has fantastic quality of wood on the exterior, however the board supplied for the bottom of each drawer is made from very poor quality and drawers broke only few days after purchase. If a better quality plywood had been supplied for base of drawers then this would be great product. i would not recommend this product as i have had to re-build drawers several times already and only had them several days and have not overloaded either so not impressed!!

This is a woderful chest of drawers, very pleasing to look at and so spacious. I like the solid top and base and the lenght of 1.6meter. The chest arrived on 23.Dec. on the day I was told it would be deliverd.The next day we assembled the carcass and left the drawers until after christmas. The instructions could be a little better, but once we read and reread the insrtuctions we where on our way. I being a woman of 74 was in charge and my husband of 87 the helper, a good team. If I can do it any one can. No problem sorting the nuts and bolts. We love the product and can recommend it.

Delivered ahead of time, quality good and instructions ok for assembly but could be a little clearer to prevent mistakes. Made a few mistakes in putting it together, but possibly some operator error there also! Overall very happy with the service and product and would recommend.

Good storage solution. Though not very easy to assemble. Unfortunately, a top panel has a defect. Back panel seems to be a bit weak for a big chest like this. Surprisingly, the handles appear to be unevenly dyed/colored, there are no two matching handles of the same shade/colour

Instructions recommend one person with a hammer and a screwdriver with 2 hours to spare - it took me considerably longer to assemble. (for a start, all 70 something screws and pegs come in a mixed bag and need identifying and separating out before you start - time wasting! ) It is a true flat pack in that nothing is ready made. The unit is stable -ish and apart from the drawers sliding open of their own accord when packed fully, does the job.

However the large wardrobe had some of the cream varnish scratched off on one of the outside panels which does look unsightly not it is erected. One corner of the wardrobe inside had also come away which although covered by the doors was unsatisfactory. The furniture is very robust and of a high quality and my daughter is very happy with it, shame about the damage on opening.

Good quality as you have to understand with it being real wood it shall have a few bits that need patience when fitting together. Good enought value for money and would recommend it to friend and family.

Unhappy with quality - but feel you get what you pay for. Had you had a more expensive, better quality in this cream colouring and assembled - I would have purchased that.
