Aarhus Chest of Drawers Narrow

The delivery mechanism is not practical and for this reason I will not use PineSoultions again. It is not realistic to stay in doors between 0700 - 2000 (or there abouts) with no facility for the driver to call and warn when close.

I ordered by phone as my PC was out of action, and the sales person was more than helpful and very friendly. I was given a despatch date, and it arrived as promised. Very pleased. Thank you.

Colour was much darker than expected, more like a dark oak, photograph shows a lighter colour. Instruction sheet not very clear but I managed to assemble item more by common sense and luck.

I believed I was buying better quality than the Sol items I had previously purchased, the actual quality and thickness of the wood in the Aarhus is to my mind inferior and the extra price is for the drawer runners which are metal and very difficult to fit as the whole system is attached to the casing and the drawers then have to be fitted in situ I managed to slice into my thumb as the runners are decidedly sharp and hard to handle. The item though looks good when assembled but the way the drawer fronts are fitted with just wood glue does not lead me to believe that the units will have a long life the wood glue supplied was rubbish, fortunately as an avid DIY'er I had good quality glue in stock at all times. If the tall narrow unit had been available in Sol I would have purchased these items in that make as the drawer fronts are screwed into position and even though runners are wooden the old candle wax trick works a treat. Also wooden runners have lasted for hundreds of years on antique furniture.

VERY PLEASED WITH CHEST UNFORTUNATELY HAD TO PAY £80 TO HAVE IT PUT TOGETHER ,I JUST COULDN'T FATHOM IT OUT, I HATE FLAT PACKS.

Just what we were looking for Arrrived in good time All parts complete Easy to assemble

Package arrived without instructions inside. Then the runners supplied for the drawers were completly different to the ones in the instructions. Meaning the fixings supplied were useless. Excluding these hitches, overall the drawers are of a very nice quality and are very suitable for what I needed. The price was very reasonable as well.

Delivery was excellent and general service was excellent, love this piece of furniture great quality!!! only problem was, it came without any instructions on how to assemble, good job i have a clever husband who was able to do it ok, not will always be the case for others though.

For the price, great value. Fairly easy to put together, instructions could be clearer but give enough detail to work it out. One thing to mention is to put the feet on before putting the sides on the unit, otherwise the feet are difficult to fit and the screw is too close to the edge and difficult to get hand and screwdriver in to tighten them! Other than that, very pleased.

It does what it says on the tin although it did take longer than an hour to make up!

It was reasonable quality for the price paid. The build quality could have been better i.e. the drawer fronts are crooked due to misaligned drilling of dowel holes.

The furniture completed a set which we had originally purchased from the makers, so we were familiar with it's qualities

A bit disappointed in the base part of the Aarhus 5 drawer tall chest. Unlike the previous similar chest I had (probably not your company but ordered to match as closely as poss. with it) my other 6 drawer tall chest had solid wood everything, including the base. Yours are just a brace of 2 x 2 s. I also don't really like the metal runner rails. The Chest doesn't really need them.
