  • This product features 100% Solid Red Oak except for the shelves which are a high quality Oak Veneer over MDF to increase strength and prevent warping. This range has been finished to look like Reclaimed Oak but is in fact made from New Oak Timber which has been sourced from sustainable forests.

Reclaimed Oak Small Bookcase

Pity the top dowels were not made flush with the wood. Put anything on top and it tips over. Also not necessary to punch holes in it. To make it look like wood worm. Apart from that easy to put together even for me. Just the right size and what I was looking for.

The assembled unit has a nice appearance and the material is good. However, when shelving is evenly spaced, storage of books on the upper shelf is restricted and limited to small volumes by the internal fixing pieces to the rear and sides. I also thought the unit was overpriced.
