For the money these chests are good value. My husband is good at putting together flat packs and he found them ok. I think someone who is not quite so informed might find the instructions a little difficult. Pleased with the end result

Product was lightweight - found that top and bottom panels were so warped as to be unusable. Product returned.

the drawers need additional support to prevent the frontage piece being pulled off when you open the drawer with contents in. The glue and wooden inserts are not enough to keep the drawer in its desired shape.

The bedside cabinets arrived bent and were very difficult to put together because of this. Some edges we rough and unfinished however once they were built they looked very nice. You get what you pay for - for the price these cabinets are ok, however if you are looking for something a bit special they are not the way to go.

I believed I was buying better quality than the Sol items I had previously purchased, the actual quality and thickness of the wood in the Aarhus is to my mind inferior and the extra price is for the drawer runners which are metal and very difficult to fit as the whole system is attached to the casing and the drawers then have to be fitted in situ I managed to slice into my thumb as the runners are decidedly sharp and hard to handle. The item though looks good when assembled but the way the drawer fronts are fitted with just wood glue does not lead me to believe that the units will have a long life the wood glue supplied was rubbish, fortunately as an avid DIY'er I had good quality glue in stock at all times. If the tall narrow unit had been available in Sol I would have purchased these items in that make as the drawer fronts are screwed into position and even though runners are wooden the old candle wax trick works a treat. Also wooden runners have lasted for hundreds of years on antique furniture.

we are very pleased indeed with the 2 bedside chests we purchased; the cost was half of anything we'd seen anywhere else. Buyers do however need to be aware that they are flat pack and quite complex to put together!

We had to return a side panel and the top as they were warped. Its fine now we have new ones, but what happened to quality control?

The cupboard on the whole is very good but the panel pins were very weak and bent easily and turned into the sides of the chest once or twice - this is the third set I have bought

Very pleased with our pair of bedside chests: the quality is excellent. Although we were able to get a great bargain, the quality is absolutely top-notch and it would certainly be worth paying full price for them.

had product arrive safely when come to building it i notice that one set of bedside tables had no screws etc. . with it so couldn't build it up so i have wait 10 days before i can build it

Instruction not easy but we managed. Excellent quality for the money.

Seem good for the money. Bought triple wardrobe, two chest of drawers and two bedside chests. Instructions ok to follow though after five items you get good at it. First one takes a bit of time. Remember to ensure unit is square before nailing back on. had broken piece and piece missing but received them the next day after contacting customer service so was impressed by that.

Once you get the knack of building the furniture, it becomes much easier and quicker

Very pleased with the bedside chests, they look really good and are exactly as I'd hoped. Drawers are slightly tight at the mo. but they'll probably ease off -- if not, that could be easily sorted. My partner assembled them, seemed to take a while and a little huffing and puffing but he's also pleased with the end result!

Speedy delivery, good quality product, would definitely order from you again. Unfortunately one of the corners of the plywood to back the cabinet was slightly damaged.

The carcass is too thin, it should be 20mm thick to give a stronger, sturdier appearance.

Really pleased with our purchase. Easy to construct and a nice solid piece of furniture. The delivery service was also spot on.

We returned the badly made and damaged cupboards to you, and a refund should have been processed on 11 November - one had a bowed side, damaged drawer, damaged & broken base. The other a bowed side panel and damaged drawer sides.

Nice looking unit packed well and delivered promptly in very good condition. The unit was easily assembled and excellent value for money what more can l say?

Easy to put together

There was a long sharp crack at the front of one of the 3 chest of drawers like the wood had dried and cracked.

It appears to do exactly what I needed it for.

There was a piece of wood missing on the bottom inner corner above the bun foot but does not visibly notice otherwise everything else was o.k. Good value compared to what is available in stores. Good Customer Service.

Purchased two bedside chests and very pleased with them and they look good. Instructions were ok except for which way the drawer runners should be fitted. I fitted some the wrong way round but this was easy to correct so that the second chest was simple. Overall very satisfied.

I found it really east to put together. I managed to assemble 3 in one evening and I am only a woman. Very pleased with finished article.

Not as bad as the larger drawers & wardrobe to put together but still lots of parts to assemble. Nice unit when completed although drawers are a bit stiff, I'm sure these will get better with use though.

Very pleased - good value for money. The furniture at the lower end of the price range was still made properly and doesn't look 'cheap' like competitors can do.

We are very happy with the bedside chests we purchased. We thought the quality was very good for the price paid and it was easily assembled. (Suggest screwing feet on to base before adding sides...this made it easier.)

The Aarhus range was the furniture of choice and as previously experienced the quality was excellent. It has quite a solid feel, looks great and is really easy to assemble. I did have a problem with bowing on one piece of base material but Customer Services showed genuine concern and responded quickly in replacing the item.

Bought two of these .Instructions a nightmare and took hours to put together first one, second took no time at all once instructions figured out! One of these cabinets came with a full bottom pine base. The second came with only a pine frame on bottom, which is the bit seen when built. I assume this as a sign of cheaper quality but no change in price,very dissapointing! Once built these are an excellent size and look really good. Drawers are a little flimsy feeling but no problems with them so far!

The standard was as I expected and I am happy with the purchase.

Somewhat disappointed in the first delivery of 2 items purchased - one item was wrong, the other was damaged and did not open properly. Second delivery to replace the items was very efficient.

It was reasonable quality for the price paid. The build quality could have been better i.e. the drawer fronts are crooked due to misaligned drilling of dowel holes.

As expected from previous purchase. Used my own glue as the one supplied was not too good. Delighted with the purchase, would recommend
