Segusino is committed to the promotion of an industry that has single-handedly developed a rural Mexican region into an industrious and entrepreneurial community that is thriving off an industry that is both ecologically sustainable and does not damage the local environment thus complying with fair trade ethics. Segusino believes in doing business with firms that do not exploit cheap labour but to provide employment for people in the third world to earn a respectable living.
